• Function: Aids in digestion by producing chemicals that break down foods

LARGE INTESTINE

• Structure: Tube that contracts and pushes waste towards the anus
• Function: Help us get rid lf waste and absorbs water back into the blood

ANUS

• Structure: Muscular opening
• Functions: Allows waste to exit the body
