EXCRETORY SYSTEM

  • Removal of waste from the body.

MOUTH

  • Food enters the mouth.

ESOPHAGUS

  • Connects the mouth to the stomach.

STOMACH

  • Churns food like a machine,and is made of muscle and mucus that lines it.

PANCREAS

  • Releases enzymes into small intestine.

LIVER

  • Releases bile that breaks down fats.

SMALL INTESTINE

  • Breaks down food and absorbs nutrients.

LARGE INTESTINE

  • Synthesizes vitamin K and B.
  • Compacts excess materials into feces.
  • The colon helps by absorbing water,sodium and nutrients.

KIDNEY

  • Regulates acids and helps maintain blood pressure.

URETERS,URINARY BLADDER AND URETHA

  • Ureters are tubes that transfer urine from kidneys to urinary bladder.
  • Urinary bladder that is a muscular sac that stores urine.
  • Uretha is where urine exits the body.

DIGESTIVE AND EXCRETORY LIKED?

  • It starts out in the digestive system by eating.
  • Next your stomach breaks it down.

DIGESTIVE AND EXCRETORY LINKED?

  • After breaking it down it sucks out all of the nutrients.
  • This is where the excretory system comes in and sucks out the water.
  • It then becomes feces or waste.

KIDNEY STONES

  • When high levels of calcium,oxalate and phosphorus are in the urine.
  • A large kidney stone may cuase pain and bleeding to occur.

ADENOCARCINOMA

  • This cancer occurs in the innermost linnning of the stomach.
