ABOUT DENGUE

• Dengue fever also known as breakbone fever, is an infections tropical disease
• It has a skin rash similar to the Measles, Infects 50-100 million people
• Dengue is transmitted by several species of mosquito within the genus Aedes
• There is no cure
• Not many Die only 1% of people have to be hospitalized

WHERE IS IT MOSTLY FOUND

• Dengue fever is mostly found in sub- tropical places
• Such as:Asian and Latin American countries
• Dengue has emerged as a worldwide problem only since the 1950s.
• But it rarely occur in United States
• it is endemic in Puerto Rico and in many popular tourist destinations
