Purpose
- When the Swedish first settled into Delaware, they wanted great items to trade
- Was first Pennsylvania until it was divided into sections we now call Delaware

- Is one of the 13 colonies
- Delaware is below New Jersey
- Is one of the Middle Colonies
- Natural resources in the Delaware Colony included farmland, forest (timber), coal, furs, fish, and iron ore!

Daily Life
- Men are usually farmers or tobacco traders
- Women did house work
- Boys helped their father do farm work
- Girls help their mother do house work
- Those not in the christian religion was the ones that those condemned and persecuted
- Economy is thriving and couldnt be better!
- William Penn is the ruler!

Famous people
- William Penn - was given a grant for the land of Pennsylvania, which is part of present day Delaware
- Lord Baltimore - was angered that William Penn had split Delaware and declared Delaware independent from Pennsylvania
- Peter Minut - First founded the land
