BY: MARY POPE OSBORNE

Personal experience

In the story when jack and Annie receive a letter; I can compare to that when there was a time I received a letter from my friend that went to another school.
There was another time when I got a letter from my cousin that lived in Greenville.

Summary

I have read about 2 kids that go on amazing adventures by traveling in a magical tree house that take them any where in the past. In this novel the the 2 kids go on an adventure to the revolutionary war. As they go they read this letter that tells them all about the revolutionary war, and they try to complete their goals.

Setting and Action

The setting of the story is a long snow stormy night. The setting and action of this story is important if they would have got the setting wrong, then it wouldn't be much of the right history that they're trying to tell.
