Mood:
I feel compassion for the blind man, and see that it is really hard for him to overcome many obstacles.

Theme:
For the need/ wanting of handicapped rights.

Genre:
Autobiograghy

Anecdotes:
-He went to the airport, and went to go buy a ticket;the lady noticed he was blind and called for assistance.
-When he goes out to eat, the waiter asks his wife if he would like anything to drink; thinking he is also deaf, and he answers yes.
-He was in the hospital when he was ill; an elderly woman began to talk to him. Every time the elderly woman said something to him the nurse would repeat what the elderly woman was saying to him, because the nurse thought he was deaf.

Inferences/ Predictions/ Connections:
-At the beginning of the story I predicted that it was about some kind of eclipse.
-I can connect to some of the people in the story;because there is a blind man who goes to our church, and sometimes people don't understand him.
-He could hear what people were saying about him, but people thought he was also deaf, because he was blind.

Literary Terms:
-I could see him sitting on a park bench; people looking at him weird.
