Black Hat

• 1080 in an extreme hazard to humans health and to the environment.
• 1080 travels deep down into the soil, ground and water. That means it could get into the streams.
• 1080 kills a lot of non targeted animals like dogs, cats, deers, pigs, birds and insects.
• 1080 has no antidote so thousands of family's pets and farming stock die of 1080 posioning.

Yellow Hat

• 1080 has killed a lot of unwanted pests lately.
• An estimate of 18 million possums have been killed by 1080.
• For over 8 years 1080 has saved the Kokako. There population was at 50% and grew up to 700%.
• 1080 doesn't harm fish so when people go to eat fish they won't get very sick.
• 1080 hasn't been found in water sources yet so it's no harm to humans at this very moment.

Red Hat

• I think we shouldn't have 1080 because it's killing animals like dogs. 1080 shouldn't be allowed because research has proven that 1080 could wipe out an entire species of animals. I think 1080 shouldn't be allowed because it makes dogs and birds suffer for hours before dying and people shouldn't have to worry about 1080 when they are out camping in the bush.
