The most important exposition scene was when Romiette and Julio met in the chat room for the first time. Romiette and Julio then decide to go into a private chat room. The song I chose for the exposition is "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. The scene was exciting and had a lovebird feel to it. This song relates to the scene because they fall in love and head over heals for each other and want to talk even more. The song's pace relates because it is upbeat. The lyrics which stood out to me were ,"Hey I just met you and this is crazy but here's my number so call me maybe". Similar to how they were in a chat room and wanted to talk privately, when they wanted to talk privately and introduce themselves. I can connect because if someone likes someone else I would understand and be excited for them.

One of the important scenes in the rising action was when Romiette and Julio were threatened by the Devildogs with guns. For this, I chose the song "Mean" by Taylor Swift. The scene's mood was tense when they didn't know if there was death waiting for them. The song relates because the Devildogs were being mean just like the meaning of the song. The song's pace is slow but also fast like the scene. The lyrics that stood out to me were "You're a liar and pathetic and all you are is mean/With your voice like nails on a chalkboard you picking on the weaker man/Someday Ill be living in a big ol' city and all your ever gonna be is mean." I connect with this song because if you're being threatened with guns, like in this case, then you're going to have to stand up for yourself.

At the climax, the Devildogs kidnap Romiette and Julio at London Woods. I chose the "Jaws" theme song because the song and scene is tense and fast. The pace gets faster like when Romiette and Julio are blindfolded and kidnapped. During this scene, Romiette is forced to walk on the pier and can tell she is on water because she can smell it and feel it. She starts screaming while Julio is still unconscious. When the music slows it resembles how they are thrown into the trunk of the car by Terell's minions. There are no lyrics in this song. However, I can relate to it because sometimes when your nervous about something the song's pace could be like the situation.
One important falling action scene consisted of the boat being struck by lightening and Romiette drowning. Julio tries to save her whilst getting no response. For this scene, I chose the song "Fix you" by Coldplay. The scene and song's mood is sad. The song is about sadness and losing someone that you love. The lyrics that stood out to me were, "When you try your best but you don't succeed/When you love someone but it goes to waste/The lights will guide you home". This is just how Romiette and Julio are going to get home safe. "I will try and fix you"; I would be upset if I lost someone that I loved after all the time we spent together.
