PRESENTATION OUTLINE
WHAT IS THE VALUE OF HELPING OTHERS?
DURING THE 8 DAYS OF MY PROJECT I LEARNED THAT SOMETHING SMALL GOES A LONG WAY.
ON THE FIRST DAY IT WAS ALL ABOUT FINDING STUFF TO DONATE
ON THE SECOND DAY I DONATED CLOTHING
ALL SORTS,SCARFS GLOVES, COATS AND SOCKS
The third day
I was looking for some canned goods around my house.
ON THE FOURTH DAY
I WAS LOOKING THROUGH THE MILLIONS OF BOOKS I HAD TO DONATE
ON DAY # FIVE
I HELPED MY FAMILY SET UP THE CHRISTMAS TREE THEY WERE ALL HAPPY
ON THE SIXTH DAY
I STARTED TO HELP WITH THE CHORES THAT NO ONE LIKES DOING
THE SEVENTH DAY WAS ALL ABOUT FINDING THE RIGHT GIFT TO GIVE MY BROTHERS
THE EIGHTH DAY
TODAY I ACTUALLY GOT BACK. MY PARENTS WERE HAPPY.
DURING THE PROJECT
- I had started to realize that I felt better about myself
- The people that i helped had thanked me for what i did and felt better knowing that there still was nice children out there
- My parents said that i was a good kid and they thanked me for all the help
- This project has shown me that giving instead of receiving is in the long run the best experience I've had in a while
