  • BUILD STAMINA:
  • Set a daily timed reading goal.
  • Use a timer.
  • Chart daily results.
  • Make it a competition!

  • Encourage students to get OUT of their desks and spread out.
  • There should be minimal noise in the classroom.
  • Teacher moves around and meets with students, or the teacher is reading to a group of students.
