How does CYo affect kids
What is cyo?
- CYO is a youth sports league sponsored by the Catholic chuch
- It's a way for kids to play sports but still be connected to the church

When, where, why, and how did cyo get started?
- When? It was started in 1930
- Where? Chicago
- Why? He knew that sports programs could build character
- How? Spread from Chicago to the midwest, and to both coasts
- Who? Bishop Bernard J. Sheil

what is the main goal for cyo
- Its main goal is to teach kids how to play different sports
- Players and families to strengthen their connection to their church
- participate regardless of their ability

CYO gives kids the opportunity to be apart of the Catholic Church and still be able to participate in sports.
Why I chose cyo
- I chose my topic because I'm playing in the league
- I wanted to learn more
