PRESENTATION OUTLINE
What Is Ebola?
Ebola is a very deadly disease that infects a human by entering through your mouth and other open body parts. Once it is in your bloodstream it causes symptoms like internal and external bleeding and fever. It has a 60% chance to kill you in hospital conditions and 95% in non-hospitals.
Summery
The Ebola outbreak in West Africa is the world's deadliest to date and the World Health Organization has declared an international health emergency as more than 4,555 people have died of the virus in west Africa this year.
My Reaction
I am happy and scared because The World Health Organization managed to trap Ebola in places like Guinea and might be able to trap it in other places, but you never know is the virus can mutate and travel to other countries like Canada.
Impact
The impact on Guinea is very large because if Ebola is not treated properly it has a chance of wiping out the country. The impact on Canada is not very large to everyday people but they still have to be cautious, the government and health departments of Canada are working very hard to try to find a cure for this disease.
