The authors purpose was to explain because he was describing the situation in a very detailed way also because he was giving many details to help us understand whats happening.

I THINK THIS ARTICLE IS NEWSWORTHY BECAUSE IT HAPPENED VERY RECENTLY AND MANY PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES OR HOMES , PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT THIS BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED ALSO BECAUSE THIS HAPPENED IN OUR REGION AND CUT DOWN TRADE AROUND THE ISLANDS BECAUSE THERE IS A DEPRIVATION OF FOOD , ALSO BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE WERE LEFT HOMELESS AND POOR IN A INTERVIEW A ISLANDER SAID IT WAS THE START OF A MANY TYPHOONS AND TROPICAL HURRIACANES AROUND THE WORLD.typhoon Yutu devastated the Northern Marianas imagine what it could do to california or other seaside states.

I chose to write about this topic because it affects the US and the states because many people were left in a bad stated and I feel like it is America’s duty to help them, after all , how would you feel if a typhoon came and wrecked your whole life? This is what happened to the islanders there are many relief projects and the Red Cross is also working on helping out the people in the Northern Marianas island chain.also it caught my eye and I thought it could be interesting.

Through the economic lense this cut down trade and power supply and also left people poor and in an effort to rebuild since the islands are small and relatively poor it is hard to rebuild so many people may die of lack of shelter and food not just the hurricane itself.this not only cut down power and killed people but also, made trade centered around the islands grow very dark.
