‘North Korea is winning the Olympics’: Concerns Kim Jong-un is stealing the show

This article describes how North Korea may be twisting the use of the olympics! It states North Korea is finally joining the olympics in the effort to become better friends with South Korea for their own purposes. North Korea wants South Korea to see them as normal that would be a victory for the north. It was heard that king Jon un sister further sent an invitation to South Korea telling him to visit the north. Vice President pence ( Australia ) spent days before the olympics saying that North Korea was trying to hijak the message and imagery of the olympics. North Korea is using this opportunity to not only become better friend with Mr. Moon but to also scare other country’s by showing off their athletes and power and nuclear program.

This is newsworthy because if this keeps happening North Korea will have more access to recourses and secrets using the south as the key. Also this may take North Korea to have better nuclear access. North Korea is trying to scare us with the friendship and nuclear weapons. On the good side though we are using this chance as good friends with South Korea to increase economic pressure on North Korea so we could perhaps close their nuclear program.

This article affects me and others because North Korea is a very secretive country and using this opportunity it will increase nuclear system recourses and they’ll have more access to private secrets. I choose to write about this topic because I find it intresting and scary how North Korea is acting. North Korea is very secretive and full of mystery’s and i take interest it that kind of thing. I’ve also always been hooked on making sure our country will never go to any kind of war while I’m a live.

I CHOOSE THE GEOGRAPHICAL AND CIVICALLY LENS
I think that right now we have a good grip on getting North Korea to shut down their nuclear programs and it all happened because of the olympics if South Korea didn’t host none of this would’ve happened we wouldn’t be this close to getting North Korea to shut it down, we wouldn’t be this close to finding out more about North Korea if South Korea wasn’t forming a bond at the olympics.
