WHERE, WHEN, AND HOW

  • Where, this event took place at a southern Illinois creek
  • When, this took place on November 15, 2017
  • How, this problem can be resolved by making sure that this animal doesn’t hurt anyone.

PERSONAL REFLECTION

  • My option on this topic is I think that this animal is actually kind of cool and scary at the same time because it’s can hurt people and it look a little weird and different.
  • My emotional reaction is a little scared because I don’t want this animal going out and hurting people.

PERSONAL REFLECTION (CONTINUED)

  • This article affects me and the world because this animal can hurt people, and if there is more of this animal in the world they could cause danger.

CRITICAL THINKING QUESTIONS

  • If I had the chance to interview someone I would interview Chris Phillips because he was the person who found this animal.
  • Do you think that there are more of this species and where?
  • Has anyone ever found something like this before?

CLASS DISCUSSION

  • If you found this animal what would be your first move?
  • Would you let this animal back into the wild or do research on it?
