WHAT HAPPENED?

• Storms in the Andes over the weekend flooded the Maipo river, contaminating it with mud and rubble and spilling dirty water in nearby towns and homes.
• At least three people have been killed and 19 are missing as rivers overflowed and bridges were washed away
• Water supplies have been restored in most of Chile's capital Santiago after flood contamination however smaller cities are still without water

It's important to us because as people we are obligated to sympathize and help, if we can, our neighbors. If it were us, they would do the same.
