Pets comfort you during coronavirus. All pets really comfort you during coronavirus and people who did not have dogs or pets race to animal shelters and try to find a pet to keep them company during this hard time. "Being alone at home kind of is hard," says George, "but with a pet you have someone to take care of, someone to play with you, someone to greet you in the morning, so it's kind of like really calming and comforting."

This is newsworthy because everybody should have a comforting pet during coronavirus and quarantine. This affects the world because coronavirus is happening all over the place. Others should care about those because they would get really lonely without a pet. Another reason this is newsworthy is because people all around the world are stuck at home with no pet and they’re getting really lonely so they should go to an animal shelter or a pet store and get a pet. Others should care about this because being at home is hard without a pet because you’ll get very lonely.

I chose to write about this topic because I just looked at the picture and I’m like I need to do this there’s a dog on it I love dogs. Another reason why I chose to write about this topic is because I read a little of it and I’m like this is a great topic for my current event I need to do this. The last reason why I chose to write about this topic is because this topic just makes you feel a lot less lonely if you have a pet and if you don’t it makes you just want to go get a pet.
