NORTH AMERICA

LANGUAGES

  • The major languages in North America are English, Spanish, and French.

Government

  • The government that both the U.S. and Canada uses is a democracy.
  • People in this region enjoy having the rights to elect their leaders and participate in their government. 

Religions

  • The main religion in this region is Christanity, but some other religions include Judaism, Islam, and Hinudism.
  • Most of the religions are monotheistic, so they believe in only one God.

URBAN/RURAL

  • Most people live in towns or cities, but there are people who live in the countryside as well.
  • In this region, homes can range from small shacks to multimillion dollar mansions.
  • Most people, however own medium sized houses.

FAMILY Relationships

  • Some families are small and some are large, it all depends on how many children the parents have.
  • On average, families include two parents and two children.
  • Families are organized by kids, parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and aunts and uncles. 

social structure

  • They have many different social class because of the economy.
  • Many people live in nice houses, others, live on the streets.
  • The wealth is concentrated.
  • The social classes include peasants, lower class, working class, middle class, and upper class.

FASHION/LITERATURE/ART/MUSIC

  • Each region's fashions, literature, music and arts are all different from each other.
  • Each region has a different way of living.
  • Some influential artists, are Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh. 

EDUCATION

  • People educate their young by taking them to school.
  • Children can also be home schooled.
  • At school, children learn different categories of mathematics, social studies, science, and English.
  • Also, they learn about art and other extra topics.

land use

  • Land can be bought.
  • People buy land to use for agriculture, or for construction.
  • Land can also be used for farming, livestock and manufacturing. 

TRADING USE

  • People exchange goods, such as, rice, grains, wheat, and etc.
  • They can exchange food supply, or working equipment. (Or more).
  • They can also trade commercialized products and oil. 

diversity

  • The main minority groups are African Americans.
  • Men and women have the same rights.
