A long amphibious reptile that feeds on most anything.

ANATOMY

  • About 5-25 feet long
  • Eyes and nose on top of the snout.
  • An hold breath for up to two hours if not stressed

Crocodiles started out as small, two legged sprinters and vegetarians, but are now huge 4 legged carnivore living in the water

The defense for a crocodile is its hard scaly back, it protects it from anything, it also acts as camouflage.

The crocodile has had to adapt to stay underwater longer to attack prey, and to swim better and have stronger bite power.

Crocodiles serve an important role by eating other predators that would eat other animals which are important to the environment.
