Parts of these books

• The Vedas is broken up into 4 parts while the Bible is broken up into 66 books.

Rig Vedas

• In the Rig Vedas is tells us how the world was created.
• Hymn CXXIX which is where it tells us that information.
• This religeon is polthestic

Bible

• In Genesis (the first book in the Bible) it tells us that God created this world we live in.
• In this Monotheistic religion God spends 6 days creating Earth and then rest on the 7th day which forms the days of the week for us.

The Water

• The mention of water is in both of these books.
• In the Vedas its approached as a question
• Then in Genesis 1:6 "And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."

Light and Dark

• In the Vedas it says that "Darkness there was" then it states that "by the great power of Warmth was born that unit." which is talking about the light
• Then in Genesis 1:3 " And God said, let there be light: and there it was."
• In both of these text the God/Gods saw that the darkness was "bad" and created a counterpart for it.
