Conjecture: I think her heroic acts during the Holocaust made her famous.

  • She was put in jail Along with her sister and father

How she overcame challenges

  • To watch over her sister- She gave her sister the medicine she needed.
  • To make sure the Jews where hidden- She had a experts help help her.
  • To help her in jail- Nollie ( her sister ) sent her packages of clothes.

The reason she is a hero today: She helped a lot of Jews during the holocaust and afterwords did lots of charity work.

  • 1920 Corrie completes watch-making apprenticeship  
  • 1921 her mother dies
  • 1924 she becomes Holland's 1st women watch-maker

  • 1940 Nazis invade Holland
  • 1942 she starts helping Jews
  • 1943 February 28 Corrie, and her family are arrested  
  • 1945 Corrie gets out of jail
  • ( the rest of her life she mostly did charity work )
