YOUR TEACHER LOVES WIKIPEDIA

I bet the teacher thought: "Is she for real?"

FACTS

If you are asking students to research the basic facts, you are asking them to Google.

If I asked YOU to research the Polish writer, Stanislaw Wyspianski, what would you do?

AND, YES, WIKIPEDIA

Wikipedia is also a great place to start your research.

Just remember, it's a terrible place to finish.

Use Wikipedia to understand the main ideas, get some background and develop that all-important list of keywords to aid you in your search.

Also, look at Wikipedia's "Talk" tab in order to see what contributors are debating and saying about on the topic.
