SYNTAX AND DICTION TEAM CHALLENGE

You will be given quotes. As a team, you will alter the syntax and or diction for points.

Points will be awarded for creativity and high quality diction. Consult with your entire team before presenting your new sentence.

PARAMETERS

• Each member is to write their own alteration first
• After that time, each member will offer their creation to the group
• The group will select a single sentence or a combination of two or more for each round
• No student may offer two sentences in one game
• Bonus rounds will include adding sentences to quotes--where eloquence and sentence quality will be the determining factors for points
