- Posted a picture on Facebook of her students with duct tape covering their mouths
- The caption read "Finally found a way to keep them quite!"
- Claimed students were not asked to put tape on their mouths

- Organizes marathon race "On My Own Two Feet" which benefits women's shelters
- She dismissed all claims of "harming" the students with the tape
