Conclusion

 What Ails Santa Anna

Santa Anna most likely has Gangrene, or more specifically Wet Gangrene. We came to this conclusion because Santa Anna claimed that the skin around the infected area seemed to be rotting. Wet Gangrene's symptoms include rotting skin, oozing of pus and liquid from the wound, and a bad smell from the area. It also causes fever and redness in the infected area.

Affected Body Systems

  • Skeletal: His bone is broken.
  • Integumentary: The skin is largely damaged and rotting.
  • Muscular: He cannot walk and it is likely he has muscle damage.
  • Circulatory: He is losing lots of blood.
  • Immune System: The body is trying to fight the disease.
