The push factor that caused Rachel and her family to leave China was because there were protestors being killed and they wanted to be safe.

The pull factor that drew them to the United States was for Rachel to have a good education and to experience democracy.

The immigration affected Rachel because she wants to become a doctor when she came to the United States.

Not only Rachel and her family left China, a lot of other families did too. This caused China to lose population.

Rachel Tang is from China and her family moved to San Fransisco, Califronia. Right now she is 23 years old and a medical student at The University of Southern California
