water quality change

  • the water quality changes each year due to pollution. if we make a change and pollute less than we will have much better water quality.

  • often consists of plastic, metal, or glass-materials that do not break down easily in the environment.people, but most of the time children,can be injured by a broken bottle or rusty piece of thrown away metal.

water pollution

  • water is a necessity of life. people and animals need clean drinking water. farmers need water to irrigate crops. the previous resource is contaminated because of agricultural run-off, mining, and waste treatment plants and improperly disposed-of industrial waste.

air pollution

  • Air pollution is solid particles and gases. people who breathe in these poisons are at a higher risk for asthma and reproductive-system damage. according to u.s environmental protection agency, birth defects can also be caused by air pollution.

soil contamination

  • soil contamination is of either liquid or solid particles mixed with soil. the contaminations may be attached to the soil particles or they may be in spaces between the soil particles contamination results when hazardous substances are spilled or buried in the soil.

  • Pollution kills more than 1 million seabirds and 100 million mammals every year.

Ways to stop pollution

  • use public transportation, walk, or ride a bike
  • avoid smoking
  • Recycle paper, plastic, glass bottles, cardboard, and aluminum cans. (This conserves energy and reduces production emissions.)
  • unplug anything thing thats not being used (or turn off)
