Teenage pregnancy is the leading cause for dropping out of high school, because teens don’t have enough time to care for their baby and go to school.

Teens can use a pregnancy test to see if they are pregnant.

3 in 10 girls will get pregnant before the age of twenty.

ABORTION

51% OF ABORTIONS BELONG TO WOMEN UNDER 25 YEARS OLD.

Teens choose to get an abortion because they feel as if they aren't ready to become a parent and don't want to experience giving birth.

ADOPTION

WHY IS IT CHOSEN OVER ABORTION?

Teens who choose adoption feel as if they can't care for their baby and don't want to get an abortion.

The Third Choice: Keeping the Baby

If the teen keeps the baby, they will discover how much of a gratifying experience being a parent is.

Sometimes a teen mom will keep her baby to make the dad stay.

This doesn't always work out, though. In fact, eight out of ten teen fathers don’t marry the teenage mother of their child.

If a teen keeps her baby, she will have to support the baby financially, and by doing this, will have to find a way of income.

Socially, the teen would be distanced from other friends because of the lack of time for anything but the teen's baby.

In some cases, the parents of the pregnant teen will become the legal guardian of the baby.
