MERMAIDS

MYSTERIES OF THE SEA

Have you ever wondered about the tales of a mermaid and wanted one. Well I have, because in our opinion they are the most unusual pet ever. The mermaid is unusual because of it's physical characteristics, it's legends and myths, and its prey and predator.

Physical Characteristics

  • Tail
  • Body
  • Other types of features

Mermaid's Tail

The mermaid's tails are fantastic because they are all different types of colors. Some examples are a minty color, goldish orange, aqua color or even a snowy royal color.

Mermaid's Body

The mermaid's body is unbelievable. I think this because it is like cutting it in half. It's top half is a humans body and the bottom half is a fish tail.

Mermaids Features

  • Scales- The scales help them glide through the water.
  • Little Flippers- The flippers help them to swim better.

Next, the mermaids are also unusual pets because of the legends and myths people tell about them.

Legends and Myths

  • Greek Legends
  • Syria Legends
  • Myths from many Countries

Greek Legends

Some greek legends have told stories about them and they are fascinating. They are fascinating because one story is about a god named Triton and mermaid messengers.

Syria Legends

The Syria country also has some amazing legends about the mermaid. Did you know one of the first legends about the mermaids came from Syria.

Myths from many Countries

There are also myths from many countries. One of the myths came from Britain. They said that they have magic powers. One of their magic powers is to give humans magic powers.

Last but not ever least, the mermaids are unusual because of it's prey and predators.

Prey and Predators

  • Hammer Head Shark
  • Shrimp and Lobster
  • Seaweed

Mermaid Predators

The mermaids only has one predator. That predator is a hammer head shark! I would not want to be a mermaid if my predator was a hammer head shark.

Mermaids Prey

The mermaids have many prey. Most of their prey comes from the coral reefs, some examples are shrimp and lobsters.

Other Food

The mermaids also like to eat seaweed

In conclusion, now you know why I think that the mermaid is the most unusual pet ever! I want one so badly!
