He now lives in Indianapolis with his wife and two kids. He also runs a YouTube change with his brother Hank and has millions of followers.
Characters: Miles: A 17-year-old boy whose looking for the "Great Perhaps" and finds it when he meets Alaska. Alaska: is young girl who is longing to get escape the labyrinth. Takumi: is the wild and eccentric friend who leads Miles into mischief. Chip: Chip is the friend who has a good grasp on boarding school life and takes Miles under his wing when he enters boarding school.
Significance of the title: In the beginning, the before, Alaska was already mysterious enough. But after she leaves everyone all mixed up about her life and reasons of why she left. And that's why they're looking for her.

It is important because drugs have become much more common occurrence with teens. It is also important because people take other people for granted and never realize how much someone means to them till they're gone.
