  • 2. The number of poor rental household experiencing severe housing cost burden,meaning households in poverty paying more than 60% of thier income toward housing ,increased slightly nationally , by 0.7.Yet ,25 states still saw decreases.
  • 3. The number of people in poor households living dobled up with family friends remained realatively stable nationly ,decrcasing in 27 states and in creasing in 24 states.
  • 4.the number of homeless children in public schools has doublled since before the reccession reaching a record national total of 1.36 million in the 2013-2014 school year to new federal data.
