FOOD
- Hmong people always eat rice with all their meal
- One of the noddle soup we eat is called pho
- The main meat we eat are chicken, pork, and beef
- Pepper is also one thing we like to eat
- Eggrolls are usually eaten on special holidays

MARRIAGE
- The man would talk to his family about getting married
- He and family will go to bride's house
- Offer money to bride's parents
- Wedding will lasted to about 3 days
- Bride will go and live with the husband's family

FUNERALS
- Can last to about 3-12 days
- The qeej(reed pipe) is performed throughout the ceremony
- It's taboo to show distress, ceremony is about the rebirth of a soul
- A number of oxen are sacrificed for the burial
- Females would have a torch and guide the spirit to their burial site

MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT
- Kwv txhiaj(storytelling song) are sang by both men and women
- Raj(wind instrument) are commonly use to express feelings for one another
- Nplooj(leaf) are use back in the war for secret messages and signals
- Traditionally, Hmong couples would throw a ball to each other for fun
- Hmong people would go to the Hmong new year to find love
