MISTAKES / ANALYSIS

  • The roses started wilting on the second day.
  • The roses could have had a lack of water.
  • The temperature was very hot and dry the week they were picked.

CONCLUSION

  • My results did not support my hypothesis because the hairspray wilts the flowers faster.
  • If the experiment was repeated, I would buy flowers from the store and not cut them from my rose bushes because the weather affected the roses.
  • I would also not saturate my rose petals as much as I did because the hairspray could of cut of the oxygen the flowers needed to live.
