  • His name was Octavian before he became emperor.
  • He was a very loyal person
  • Was clever and a good lawmaker

B is for buildings

  • the Romans built huge buildings such as the amphitheaters, or the Pantheon

  • also known as the amphitheaters.
  • they have been there for 2000 years ago.
  • Are shaped like an oval bowl
  • Giant walls that keep it inclosed
  • The walls are 150 feet (46 meters) high

D is for Diana

  • diana is the roman name for Artemis the greek goddess
  • the goddess of Transitions and hunters

  • For nine years, was governor of Cisalpine Gaul.
  • Conquered all of Gaul.
  • 9 years fighting bloody wars.
  • He was a patrician.

  • Mars is the roman name for the greek god ares
  • god of war, and

N is for neptune

  • neptune is the roman name for Poseidon the greek god
  • he is the god of the sea

O is for

P is for PLUTO

  • Pluto is the Roman name for hades the greek
  • god of the underworld and the dead

Q is for

R is for Rome

  • Rome is known for the Colosseum, and Julius Caesar
  • Rome is in modern day Italy

S is for serious

  • the roman leaders were very serious about keeping their empire safe and powerful
  • but failed :(

V is for venus

  • the roman name for Aphrodite the greek goddess
  • she is the goddess of love beauty.
