- We believe that there are 4 signs, or marks that the Church can be recognized by.
- They are found in the Niceness Creed:" I believe in one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church."

WHAT DID JESUS ENTRUST TO PETER AND THE APOSTLES?
- Jesus entrusted the apostles with the means to carry out his work, and the task to administer the sacraments.
WHAT DID JESUS GIVE THE CHURCH IN ORDER TO CONTINUE HIS WORKS?
WHAT POWER DID THE APOSTLES RECEIVE AT THE LAST SUPPER?
- At the Last Supper the apostles received the power to celebrate the Eucharist.
WHAT POWER DID THE APOSTLES RECEIVE AFTER THE RESURRECTION?
- After the resurrection the apostles received the power to forgive sins.
WHAT WERE THEY COMMANDED TO DO ON THE DAY OF THE ASCENSION?
- They were commanded to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

- The church has the power to be the final judge to determine what is necessary for salvation and sanctification.
