OUR CHAIR

Identifying a Need

• To make chair out of card board that holds 45 pounds with out using tape, glue, and staples.

Researching the Problem

• We searched for school chairs, woven chairs, and wooden chairs to come up with a design

DESIGNING A SOLUTION

• Our original chair had a triangular piece in the middle bottom of the chair for support
• The sides were cut so we could have a chair back
• We had a big seat so you could fit something wide on it

BUILDING A PROTOTYPE

• Our first design worked well but then we over flew it with Bibles and it broke. 😢
• In the end we made a chair that has two sides, two arm rests, and underneath has a two by two card board support

TROUBLESHOOTING

• Since our card board was broken we had to come up with a different type of chair
• We thought of putting stacks of cardboard in the middle so the object would not break through
