• job description by Cath:I work as a Program Director for two residential programs, where I provide assessment services for dual-diagnosed clients with severe psychiatric disorders, anxiety and depression. I work with a multi-disciplinary treatment team where I am responsible for developing individual treatment plans and advice for the modification of client’s behavior.

• job description by Cath pt.2:Additionally, I've had the opportunity to work with several different individuals in the field and my work was purposeful and exciting; not one day's goes by that it is not different. I found that the innovative team of people I have worked with placed great emphasis, on providing Mental Health Services, which served youth, families, and adults with dual diagnosis throughout the Bay Area.

• she asses whats going on with patients, what meds they need or are on, what happened over night, and make sure the residents are getting the services needed

• I learned how getting ready now is important and how grades even in high school is important in future opportunities
• I think that I will still pursue this career because this interview and project just made me more interested.

Career project conclusion

• I learned a lot about the connections from the mind to art along with the stress level of being a psychiatrist, along with the fact you need a lot of education however, I also still am interested in being a psychiatrist. And to begin on this path I'm planning on looking at internships over the summer.
