Acts are inherently right or wrong

DEONTOLOGY

  • decisions- authority
  • decisions- reasoning

Examples:
Both come to same conclusions they just have a different way of justifying it.

Consequential- Lying is wrong, because it has bad consequences.
Deontology- Lying is wrong, because it is inherently wrong.
