PRESENTATION OUTLINE
NUCLEUS
The nucleus is like Bruce Bochi of The San Francisco Giants he has to make all the important decisions for the whole team. The team counts on him for there success.
NUCLEOLUS
The Giants farm system is like the nucleolus because it contains all the future players they will have. Just like how the nucleolus contains all the ribosome.
CHLOROPLAST
The chloroplast are like the solar panels of the stadium the absorb the energy from the sun to make electricity for the stadium lights and machinery.
CYTOPLASM
The Giants field is like the cytoplasm because it contains and take up most of the ballpark just like the cytoplasm. Also because just like cytoplasm the field contains the most important things the players themselves which make the game.
GOLGI APPARATUS
The Golgi apparatus is like the food venders they have all the food made and ready for people to buy and eat so they just store it until they can export it or sell it to the fan to eat.
MITOCHONDRIA
The mitochondria are the pitcher Bumgardener because the pitcher is the power house of the baseball field he has to throw the ball for the game to continue. Just like the mitochondria have to keep producing energy for the cell to work.
CELL WALL
The cell wall is the Giants stadium walls it keeps in all paying fan and keeps out all the ones who don't. Just like how the cell well keeps out bad things and keeps in the good ones.
NUCLEAR MEMBRANE
The nuclear membrane is like Bruce Bochy's co-managers they help keep him in line and in place. The nuclear membrane helps the nucleus stay as a whole and to keep all its parts in one place.
RIBOSOMES
The ribosomes are like the umpires because they help speed up the game by calling balls and strike and if you are safe or out. Without them I'd be a lot more arguing and uncontrollable chaos. Ribosomes help speed up biological processes.
SMOOTH ER
The smooth ER is like the dugout it stores all the players until they are called to play. The smooth ER holds lipids and steroids until they are ready to be exported or used for energy.
ROUGH ER
The rough ER is like the Giants ceo he sends people out to do other jobs for him so the organization as a whole will benefit just like the rough ER does.
Vacuoles
The vacuoles are similar to stand at Giants stadium. The stands contains and hold all the fans who pay to get in which help keep the Giants organization alive. Just like how the vacuoles store the food that the cell needs to survive.
CELL MEMBRANE
The cell membrane is like the Giants ticket booth and entrance to the ball park. It keeps most of the bad things out but sometimes bad things get in. Just like the cell membrane keeps bad things out but sometimes a bad thing gets in.
CHROMATIN
The chromatin is similar to the trainers they help the players get better reinforce that they are ok, and control there pain to make sure it gets better and they get stornger.
LYSOSOMES
The lysosomes are like the security guards they kick out any one who is bad or causing trouble. Just like how the lysosomes eat the dying things inside the cell.
