Contrive Experience

  • models

Contrive experiences

  • are the edited copies of reality and are used as substitutes for real things when it is practical or not possible to bring or do the real thing in the classroom. --it is also design to simulate to real-life situtuations.

models

  • It is a reproduction of real thing in a small scale, or exact size—but made of synthetic materials

Mock-up

  • Is a special model where the parts of the model are singled out, heightened and magnified in order to focus on that part or process under study.

Specimen

  • A small amount or piece of preserve object from the original object that can be tasted or examined.

Object

  • May also include artifacts displayed in a museum or object displayed in exhibits or preserved insect specimens in science.

Simulation

  • Is a representation of the manageable real event in which the learner is an active participant engaged in a learning behaviour or in applying previously acquired skills or knowledge.

Game

  • There is a difference between in a game and a simulation. Game are played to win while simulations need not have a winner.

Realia

  • Objects or activities used to relate classroom teaching to the real life especially of peoples studied.
