• join unequals
• lesser joined to greater importance
• if, as, since, when, because .....

Correlative Conjunctions

• multiple word conjunctions
• either/ or, neither/nor
• Either you or I will eat the rest.

Conjunctive Adverbs

• act as adverbs and conjuctions
• clause beginners
• however, moreover, nevertheless, accordingly, therefore
