CONJOINED TWINS

BY: ALEXIS NAJERA SANCHEZ

The cause of conjonted twins is when a single fertilized egg splits and develops into two individually . usually between 13 and 15 days after the egg is developing the separation stops before the process is complete, and the resulting twins are conjoined.

Symptoms -
There aren't any specific signs and symptoms that indicate a woman is carrying conjoined twins.

Treatment-
Conjoined twins may be separated by surgery but Their bodies may not be able to support both their lives, or it may be hard for one or both to survive because of health problems. So treatment for each set of twins is unique.

Most conjoined twins die in the womb or soon after birth. Or some may have a normal life span but health problems.
