  • In confirmation we celebrate the last sacrament of initiation
  • Communion: enter a new community- the school's alumni
  • In confirmation we become a full member of the Church
  • We join the other full members of the Church

  • Memorial: our high school years
  • Transformation: we go from being a student to an adult
  • In confirmation we transform into full members of the church
  • We agree to take on responsibilities

OTHERS

  • confirmation the bishop states our baptismal name and anoints us
  • graduation: the principal calls our name/ gives us our diplomas
  • The students are the candidates in confirmation
  • College and careers build up on high school
  • The rest of the sacraments build off of completing confirmation

DIFFERENT FROM CONFIRMATION

  • Graduation: you aren't vowing anything
  • Graduation: event to celebrate completing high school
  • Confirmation: vow to be an active member in the Church

  • Confirmation: celebrate that we finished the Sacraments of Initiation

  • Confirmation: we join those who have already received Confirmation

  • Memorial: reminds us of the rules we signed to get our license
  • Confirmation: reminds us of our baptismal promises to be People of God
  • Transformation: transforms us more into an adult
  • Confirmation: transforms us into full members of the Church
