Camp plaszow

  • constructed in February 1943
  • MAde through forced work
  • Those unable to work were shot
  • Taken to Auschwitz
  • Many died of Typhus, Starvation and execution

Hujowa Gorka

  • A near by hill
  • Almost 8,000 inmates were killed there
  • They were piled upon each other
  • They were burnt
  • 17 truckloads of human ashes

The end of Plaszow

  • In 1944 most prisoners were taken to other camps
  • in January 1945 the remaining prisoners were taken on death march
  • Those who survived the death March were gassed

Amon Goth

  • His first assignment was the construction of Plaszow
  • He also saw the liquidation of two concentration camps
  • his dogs were trained to tear and maul the inmates to death
  • He once shot a jewish cook because his soup was too hot
