THEY WERE PUT IN IN GHETTOS AND CONCENTRATION CAMPS
THEY WERE TREATED LIKE WORTHLESS ANIMALS
CONDITIONS IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS AND GHETTOS
- Stripped of every valuable item
- The Nazis used gas chambers and crematorias
- They worked for their food in wages
- People died from exposer and overwork
- They were very short in supplies and they often starved
LOCATIONS
- They were mainly in Germany and the Soviet Union
- There were as much as 20,000 camps in 1933 through 1945
- They were usually located in rural areas so they wouldn't be seen
IN THE GHETTOS THEY WERE TREATED LIKE PROPERTY
WITHIN THE GHETTOS THEY HAD THEIR OWN CULTURES AND COURTS
DISEASE WAS RAMPANT
SHORTAGE OF HOUSING & FOOD WAS COMMON
MILLIONS OF PEOPLE DIED
IT WAS A VERY TRAGIC TIME
