Communism was created by Karl Marx. His original concept of communism was that all of society,economics, and politics where combined into one classless automatic and government-less society that is based on the common ownership of all economic means of production and social sameness. He published his idea in the book he wrote titled the"Communist Manifesto".

The Communist party in the Soviet Union was founded on January ,1 ,1912 by Vladimir Lenin. Lenins idea of communism was called Leninism and was similar to that of Marxism. After Lenin died he was succeeded by Joseph Stalin. Once in control Stalin executed or exiled all political enemies and began rule as a complete dictator. The communist party in the Soviet Union dissolved on August ,29 ,1991

The communist party of China (CPC) is based on democratic centralism which is a principle conceived by Russian Marxist and theoretician Vladimir Lenin that entails democratic and open discussion on policy on the condition of unity in upholding the agreed upon policies. It has become the worlds 2nd largest political party with over 86.7 million members.

The communist party in Cuba was originally formed in 1920 and in 1960 Fidel Castro proclaimed the country a socialist state and communism the leading force on the island. The ideology of the communist party in Cuba is a strict follower in the concept of Marxism . The communist party in Cuba has brought significant benefits to Cuba in the form of education, social security and medical care.

The communist party of Kampuchea in Cambodia has followers named Khmer Rouge. It was a variation of the Vietnam people's army in North Vietnam and it was the major ruling party in Cambodia from 1975 to 1979 and was led by Pol Pot.
