Dos & Don'ts

Dos & Don'ts

  • Do: pull your weight
  • Do: contact your committee chair or supervising officer if you have a question or concern
  • Don’t: sign up for a committee and then disappear/stop responding to emails. People will remember this and you could be blackballed in the future from serving on other committees/running for office.

Dos & Don'ts

  • Do: resign from the committee if you find you’ve got too much on your plate.
  • Do: go above and beyond (if you’re interested and your workload allows!)
  • Do: remember that this is a long-term commitment, plan ahead.

How do I start?
