WHY PAUSE?

  • Commas can be used for pauses, separating words and many more.
  • Commas let you pause, they think or just take a breath.

COMMAS CAN SAVE LIVES?

  • Let's eat grandma!
  • Let's eat, grandma!
  • Help a thief!
  • Help, a thief!

EXAMPLES:

  • Roses, llamas, and doctors.
  • Caro, wolf, and can-opener.
  • Taylor, giraffes, and glasses.
  • Bowties, converse, and glasses.

WRONG EXAMPLES

  • Face window paper.
  • Shark, ocean, water.
  • Titans, Levi and Eren.
  • Snow breeze sun shine

WHERE DO I PUT COMMAS?

  • Commas are used when there are more than 2 subjects in a sentence.
  • DO NOT USE THEM WITH ONLY 2 SUBJECTS!
  • You also add commas in a sentence to make it sound neater and to pause for understanding.
  • Commas also go in dates, addresses after cities, and before states or states and countries ect.
