• Attempt to resilient soviet power and infrequency around the world by preventing the spread of communism.

MARSHALL PLAN

• U.S aid plan designed to promote economic recovery in Europe after World War ||

NATO

• A mutual defense pact formed by western nations in 1949

WARSAW PACT

• A 1995 defense pact between the USSRA and Eastern European nations.

ARMS RACE

• A competition to achieve weapons superiority.

CULTURAL REVOLUTION

• A period of revolutionary upheaval and political persecution in China

KOREA WAR

• A war in 1950 to 1953 between communist North Korea and non-communist South Korea that involved Soviet and Chinese support for the North and US and UN support for the south.

VIET CONG

• Communist insurgents in south Vietnam.

VIETNAM WAR

• The war between North and South Vietnam from the early 1950s to 1975

DOMINO THEORY

• The belief that if Vietnam fell to the communist the rest if Asia would fall like a row of dominoes.

HOW DID THE COLD WAR CHANGE THE WORLD

• I believe the Cold War changed the world by causing tension. These tension led a mass majority of wars. Like also the pacts "Warsaw pact". This always caused the split in Asia wit the Iron Curtain.
