The Cold War changed the world in a drastic way. Millions were killed in this devastating war. After the war,countries thought it was a good idea to have nuclear weapons. This way they could stay technologically advanced. Countries around the world had a race to see who had the better weapons and technology. Now nations are trying to get each other not to use them against one another.
